Rs. 23 crore released for upgradation of Judicial infrastructure: Sagar

JAMMU, (KMW News):- The government has sanctioned an amount of Rs. 23 crore for the up gradation of judicial infrastructure in the State.
The information was given at a high level meeting held under the Chairmanship of Minister for Rural Development, Law and parliamentary Affairs, Mr Ali Mohammad Sagar here today.
The amount he said, would be spent on the construction of District Court Complexes at Mominabad Srinagar, Udhampur and Doda. Principal and Sessions Judge Court Complex at Baramulla, Munsif Court at Pampore, Munsif Court and residential quarters at Nobra Leh, Conference hall and administrative block at high Court Complex Srinagar, development of infrastructure facilities at District Court Complex Jammu, etc.
The Minster on the occasion reiterated the government commitment to expand and upgrade judicial infrastructure in the state for speedy and hassle free justice delivery. He said that infrastructure development and upgradation of existing facilities would also improve the functioning of courts across the State.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Law, Mr. G.H. Tantray, officials from Law department and senior officers from JKPCC .
