Srinagar: There was no fresh visitor on board the weekly Karvan-e-Aman bus service, plying between divided parts of Kashmir along the Line of Control via Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Official sources told a that there was no fresh visitors from Pakistan administered Kashmir onboard the ‘peace bus’ when it arrived here. However four persons were from this side of the divide returned home after their stipulated stay in Pak, they said.
The passengers travelled from Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pak, to Chakoti, near the LoC in Uri town and as a part of procedure, the travelers alighted from the bus and crossed the Aman Setu (Peace Bridge) on foot.
While no fresh visitor from this part of the Kashmir travelled to Pak, five residents of Muzaffarabad returned home after completing their 28-days of allotted stay here, they added.
