Mirwaiz leaves for London on Friday

Srinagar: Chairman of his faction of Hurriyat Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq leaves for London tomorrow to attend seminar on Kashmir.
A party statement here to a said that Mirwaiz would represent voice of Kashmiris during the seminar being held on 26 and 27 of this month.
“In his lecture, Mirwaiz would narrate pain and sufferings in Kashmir,” the statement said.
Earlier, the Hurriyat Conference finalized preparation in context with the seminar during the executive committee meeting here.
With Mirwaiz in chair, the meeting was attended by Professor Abdul GAni Bhat, Bilal Gani Lone, Aga Syed Al Mousvi Al Safvi, Moulana Masroor Ansari, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza and Musadiq Adil.
Mirwaiz, who is the chief cleric of Kashmir, was issued a fresh passport by government this year alone.
The Mirwaiz had applied for the passport and after receiving the security verification, the authorities issued the passport with one-year validity.
