Nikita Bhaduri is an emerging interior Designer and Fitness Personality.
In an exclusive interview with Kashmir Media Watch, she talks to Rameez Makhdoomi.
A bit about your early days?
So originally I am a Bengali girl from Kolkata but now I live in Pune. My schooling was from Ramakrishna Sarada Mission. I am not a good student but yes I love to be wise.
How did you develop interest towards arts especially interior designing?
Ever since my childhood I have loved to explore all kinds of art … like painting, dance, song, handicraft. When I was in my second year of college, I was thinking of doing something different from the mainstream. Then I started a diploma in interior designing. I love being a very talented woman … like I said before I love being wise.
Your interests in Interior Designing fields?
Well in my case … I feel very relieved when I open my laptop and design something for my client or my portfolio. Yes, it is a very hectic job but when you love your job you find peace in it.
Share some fitness tips since you are known fitness personality?
Fitness is nothing but a game of your mind. If you think you love to be fit, you love to be happy then you will.
We’ve always heard the line,
“Early to bed and early to rise
Makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise “
But it is quite difficult for our generation. But we can take care of our diet, we can do some workouts, we can give us a better life.
How did you develop interest in muscle building?
Muscles are good for our health. To be a woman you have to be stronger. There are many types of muscle building. No one is pressuring you to become a bodybuilder. You can gain some lean muscle naturally, you can reduce your body fat percentage, you will get a very good body shape which gives you confidence in your lifestyle. Many women in our Indian culture think that body building is only for men because women’s muscles do not look good …. but believe me it is a myth it is just an excuse to be lazy.
Your future goals ?
I want to be a well-known athlete. I try to make myself stronger and more humble and if possible love to dispel the myth that “women don’t look good in muscle”
Women’s body is not a place to comment “You are sexy, you are hot, etc.” A woman gives birth to a child. It’s very hard work. If they do this kind of work then why don’t they take care of themselves?
Your message?
Love yourself, be charming, don’t worry about others who try to frustrate you, be brave, present your face with a big smile, don’t judge, be fit and humble.
U r splendid with ur dreams and passion
