Pulwama, Feb 17(KMW): Search operation launched at a time in 7 villages of South Kashmir town
Tral: A massive search operation was launched in seven villages of Tral town of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports said that in a bid to track down militants, government forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation in couple of Tral villages including Wagad, Handoora, Satura, Aripal, Gadpora Youngwani and Darganaie Gund.
Confirming that Cordon and Search Operation was launched in 7 villages at a time, a police official said that there were inputs about the presence of militants.
Door-to-door searches were conducted while the identity cards of people were checked thoroughly. However, no arrests were made.
