Srinagar: Despite very hot weather, educational institutions reopened here today in the Kashmir valley after brief ten-day summer break.
The educational institutions upto 12th class, including private schools, were closed since July 23 for summer break.
The maximum and minimum temperature in the Valley were more than the temperature at Jammu, the winter capital of the state.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature more than 33 degree Celsius here against 32 degrees in Jammu.
Parents are concerned as majority schools, particularly government run institutions, have no fans.
