New Delhi: Home Minister P Chidambaram today held a press conference in Delhi where he spoke about on various issues.
When questioned on the 2G probe and Pranab Mukherjee, he said that 2G was not his concern since it was not under his ministry.
He said that five new CRPF battalions to be deployed in Maoist areas. Four CRPF battalions will be deployed in anti-insurgency operation in Arunachal Pradesh, he said
On US associating ISI with the Haqqani network, he said, “We are not surprised that the US has lately discovered ISI’s link with other terrorist groups.”
On the Telangana issue, he said, “A report on Telangana by Congress in-charge on Andhra Pradesh is likely either today or tomorrow.”
He said that no resolution has been passed on the matter of Afzal Guru since the matter is with the President.
