LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan Wednesday said that US having lost the war in Afghanistan, was now trying its best to make Pakistan a scapegoat, Geo News reported.
On the occasion of inauguration of a new block in Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Imran Khan said Pakistan suffered the most in the war on terror and ruled out resolution to the problem in tribal areas through military means, adding that negotiations is the only remedy.
He said he would categorically present his conviction during the upcoming All Parties Conference (APC) convened by the Prime Minister on current Pak-US situation that an action against Haqqani Group would not provide any solution to the issue. The (military) action would result in the killing of 350000 tribesmen, he argued, stressing that the parties must sit at the table.
The TI Chief said the Government had become a US slave and that also in exchange of monetary assistance that can better be termed as peanuts.
