Chadoora Hussipora villagers demand stoppage of mud extraction

Srinagar, May 30(KMW): Chadoora is an important Tehsil of Budgam District , the important village Hussipora , which has a big grass pasture where animals are reared is facing threat from mud mafia.

A local, while pleading anonymity stated – “ The unabated extraction of mud from Hussipora village in Budgam district is facing dire threat due to illegal mud extraction from the pasture, which forms important zone for animals to survive and a hope for area residents. We demand authorities to take a swift action in this regard. We demand authorities to intervene and act swiftly in this regard ”

The locals in unision are demanding to stop the extraction of mud from the Hussipora , grass pasture so that ecological balance of the area does not get disturbed.
