Srinagar, December 19: BSNL, a state-owned telecommunications company, had promised to revolutionize connectivity in Kashmir by providing efficient networks, internet speed at affordable prices. However, the reality on the ground tells a different story.

Despite claims of 4G connectivity, the actual network speed and coverage are woefully inadequate, barely meeting the standards of 2G.

The weak network and connectivity have caused immense frustration among consumers in Kashmir. The lack of reliable internet access has hindered various aspects of life, including education, business, and communication. Students are unable to access online resources, businesses are struggling to operate efficiently, and people are finding it difficult to stay connected with their loved ones.

The disparity between BSNL’s promises and the actual service quality is alarming. It is essential for the company to take immediate action to address the concerns of its customers in Kashmir. Upgrading the existing infrastructure, increasing the efficiency of cell towers, and improving the network capacity are some of the steps that BSNL can take to enhance the quality of its services. Until then, the people of Kashmir will continue to suffer due to the company’s unfulfilled promises.
The call cut and miserable internet speed is becoming hallmark of BSNL even in heart of the city areas like Maisuma, Srinagar.
