Woman pilgrim dies of heart attack at Vaishno Devi

Jammu: A woman pilgrim died of cardiac arrest at Vaishno Devi cave shrine situated in Trikuta Hills of mountainous Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources here today said.
“A woman identified as Aruna Durga of Maharashtra fell unconscious outside the cave shrine last night and was immediately shifted to the nearby health centre at Bhawan,” police here today said.
They said she was declared dead by the doctors and cardiac failure was cited as reason for the death. Her body was handed over to the family members for last rites.
