Two militants killed in ongoing encounter in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 18 : Two militants have been killed in an ongoing encounter in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir, a defence ministry spokesperson said.
Col N N Joshi told news agency that on a specific information about the presence of militants, troops launched a search operation at Bhat Mohalla, Handwara, in the frontier district of Kupwara late last night. However, when the area was being sealed, militants opened indiscriminate fire with automatic weapons. More details awaited .
