Territorial Army man shot dead by gunmen in Kulgam

Kulgam 17 September (KMW): Gunmen on Monday shot dead Former Ikhwan Commander in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

According to reports reached to Kashmir News Bureau, gunmen fired upon Mukhtar Ahmad Malik alias Mukhtar Gola of Territorial Army 162 BN from a close range at his home in Shurat village of Kulgam.

Malik was posted in Srinagar with the Territorial Army and was on leave He was a former commander of the pro-government outfit Ikhwan.

After the attack, police rushed to spot and launched search operation to nab the attackers.

The incident came three months after an Army jawan was abducted and killed in Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
