Srinagar: Ten Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) guests were among 31 people, who crossed sides on the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector in north Kashmir this afternoon.
Official sources told KMW that ten PoK guests arrived at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on the LoC after crossing the Aman Setu, the peace bridge, on foot this afternoon.
Three Kashmiri residents, who had gone to PoK, also returned to their homes after completing stay across the border with their relatives, separated in 1947.
They said only two Kashmiris crossed over to other side in the Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK, since April 7,2005 when first bus was flagged off by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh.
The service was started to enable the divided families to meet each other.
Sources said 16 PoK residents, who were here also returned to their homes after completing stay here.
