Srinagar, June 16: Militant outfit Tehreek-ul-Mujhadeen (TeM) chief and General Secretary United Jihad Council Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman Thursday accused government forces of killing Tanvir Sultan of Bemina Srinagar in custody. “First he was arrested and then put to death. Indian has once again started pursuing the policy of ‘Catch and Kill’ in Kashmir. The genocide of Kashmiri’s will have serious ramifications,” he said.
As per a statement to CNS, Sheikh Jameel-ur-Rehman while paying rich tribute to slain youth Tanvir Sultan said that he belongs to a family that has sacrificed everything for sake of freedom struggle. Gowhar Ahmed the brother of the slain youth was TeM Divisional Commander and his maternal uncle Abdul Rehman Shigan was also a top rank militant who attained martyrdom.
“The blood of martyrs will show it’s colour one day. There will be a day when Kashmir will breathe in free air,” he said.
