Shahrukh turns 47 on 2nd November

MUMBAI: Renowned actor Shahrukh Khan will celebrate his 47th birthday on November the 2nd.

Born in New Delhi in 1965, Shahrukh started his career from television and made his debut on the big screen in 1992 with the film Deewana and starred in many blockbusters including Ra One, Om Shanti Om, Chak de India and Don.
Known in Bollywood as King Khan, Shahrukh was included in the list of the 50 most influential people by American Magazine Newsweek in 2008.
He has been awarded with numerous awards as recognition for his films and services to Indian cinema including the 4th highest Indian civilian award “Padmashiri” and the 2nd highest French civilian award “Ordre des Arts et des Lettres”.
He has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Bedfordshire and is the only Bollywood actor to receive the Chubb fellowship from the Yale University.
