Making quick decisions is said to be one of the hallmarks of the present Narendra Modi government at the Centre.

On the other hand, there is much unique case of the resignation of Shah Faesal, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. His resignation is pending with the government for more than four years now.

Shah Faesal’s resignation has been forwaded to Centre Govt four years ago, Centre is yet to take decision on resignation of IAS Officer Shah Faesal, who still stands at Serial number 35 in seniority list of IAS Officer in J&K.

It is astonishing to learn that Shah Faesal is still attending the training programmes of the Government meant for IAS officers from time to time.

Despite his resignation, he has been attending these programmes and figures on Government records as active service despite his resignation.

According to sources, Shah Faesal is still in the seniority list issued by the Government from time to time.

The expert pulse is that not been accepted till date, it technically means that he can join the civil services once again.
