Srinagar: Majlis-e-Mashawarat, an amalgam of various separatist organizations, spearheading the movement to seek return of mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Muhammad Afzal Guru, on Sunday announced a fresh protest calendar for the coming week.
According to statement issued to news agency, a spokesman of MMM has urged people to observe complete shutdown on Saturday.
It has asked people to hold protest demonstrations led by concerned Imams of mosques after Friday prayers.
“India has slapped PSA on people demanding mortal remains of martyrs.
People will continue their struggle under one point agenda for return of mortal remains till it reaches to its logical conclusion”, reads the statement issued here.
“After observing Shut Down on Saturday, people will resume their work and all business establishments, schools and offices will remain open on Sunday”, it added.
