Sagar inaugurates science laboratory

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 01: Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj, Mr. Ali Mohammad Sagar has asked the students to avail the benefits of the educational facilities being provided by the government under various schemes for securing their future and achieving excellence in the life.
Mr. Sagar was speaking at the inaugural function of the science laboratory at Higher Secondary school Nowpora.
The Minister said that students are the future of tomorrow and have to shoulder the responsibilities of the nation for which achieving excellence in the academics and curricular activities is pre-requisite. He asked them to prepare themselves for achieving these goals and take the lead from the students who have cracked IAS, KAS and other examinations.
The teachers are role models in shaping the future generation and they have to disperse their duties with utmost dedication and devotion, he added.
The Minister was informed that the science laboratory has been constructed at the cost of Rs. 15 lakh with a six month record time.
Mr. Sagar said that funds for the improvement in the infrastructure of the institution would also be arranged in due course of time.
The people of the area expressed gratitude of the Minister and extended support for the implementation of welfare schemes in the area.
On the occasion, people posed various problems for which the Minister assured that these would be solved in a phased manner and within available resources.
The team of officers accompanied the Minister.
