Kyiv, May 7  Russia has fired four cruise missiles at the southern port city of Odesa in Ukraine on Saturday, according to the regional military administration.
The Ukrainian military’s Operational Command (South), “The enemy continues not only the physical destruction of the region’s infrastructure, but also the psychological pressure on the civilian population.”
However, there have been no casualties.
According to CNN, the regional military administration also posted a drone video purporting to show a strike against a Russian patrol boat in the Black Sea.
In the video, Bayraktar TB2 drone was used in the attack.
The island in north-western Black Sea was captured by Russian forces at the start of the invasion after a battle with border guards which inspired Ukrainian resistance to the invasion, BBC reported.
Till now, Ukraine has claimed to have destroyed 11 Russian warships so far, the biggest was cruiser Moskva.
In last few days, the Ukrainian air force units have carried out several strikes against Russian troops on Russian-occupied Snake Island off the coast of Crimea.
Meanwhile, the UN World Food Programme has urged re-opening of ports in Odessa to help control global hunger crisis.
