Lahore, May 7  Ahead of Imran Khan’s long march, Pakistan Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah on Saturday warned the PTI party against creating a chaos.
Geo News quoted Sanaullah as criticising former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan for “inciting” and “misleading” the public against the incumbent government.
Speaking at Lahore, he warned that if Imran continues with his tactics of encouraging his supporters to disrespect other party leaders then he would face the same fate.
“You won’t be able to escape from it,” he added.
He further added that if Imran Khan didn’t mend his ways, they too would instruct their workers to “catch and beat them up”, Geo News reported.
“They (the supporters) will become human beings after a few thrashings,” he said, adding that the PTI must assure the government that the long march would be peaceful, political and democratic.
Referring to former minister Sheikh Rasheed’s statement on the long march turning “bloody”, Sanaullah said: “You told people that this march will be bloody. I am warning you to take your words back or I won’t let you step out of your house.”
Imran Khan had earlier announced that he would give a call for the long march anytime after May 20.
