UP resident among 2 held with demonetised Rs 50 lakh in Kashmir

Srinagar, Jan 7(KMW) : Two persons, including a resident of Uttar Pradesh (UP), were arrested with Rs 50 lakh demonetised currency notes in Kashmir valley, a police spokesman said here on Sunday.

He said a police party of Police Post Baghiyas, apprehended two persons during a surprise naka checking near Batboni Baghiyas and recovered demonetised currency of Rs 50 lakh from their possession.
