NEW DELHI :At a prestigious function organized by Media Federation of India (MFI) at FICCI International Auditorium New Delhi, the 6th Media Excellence Awards-2012 were given to various media personalities, electronic news channels of National and International repute, print media and FM radio channels on the basis of their extra-ordinary contribution in the field of media.
Director Information and Public Relations, Jammu and Kashmir State, Khawaja Farooq Renzushah was honoured with Media Excellence Award of the Year by Media Federation of India for media support.
On this occasion, 2500 media personalities from all over the country were present. Zee News, Sahara Samay, FM Radio Fever 104 and other electronic and print media were received the awards of the year in various capacities.
Khawaja Renzushah was selected for the award by the Executive Committee of Media Federation of India for proving his excellence in the field of media, dissemination of information and his contribution in literary activities.
Mr. Renzushah is the author of 11 books and has already received various awards at international and National levels, even two scholars received M. Phil Degree in various universities for writing M. Phil thesis on the literary contributions, novels and Afsanas of the Mr. Renzushah. He was few days earlier honoured Hazarat Shah-i-Hamdan Silver Coin Award by Tajikistan Ambassador, Mr. Syed Beig Syeedi for his contribution in promoting moral thoughts of great Sufi Saint of Hazarat Bulbul Shah (RA) and Hazarat Shah-i-Hamdan (RA).
Earlier, Mr. Renzushah was awarded by various literary academies of various states for his literary contribution. His novels include Zakhmo ki Salgirah, Bahanwar Meri Manzil, Inqilab Ka Shaheed, Doobitia Kinarya, Kashmiri novel Aab Chi Dazan, Discovery of Kashmir, Jaeel Jalti Hai and other books have received various laurels at different literary and spiritual forums.
Even his Kashmiri Novel has recently translated into Pahari novel which is assumed the State’s first Pahari novel in Pahari language which was released by the Governor, Mr. N. N. Vohra in a prestigious function at SKICC two months earlier.
Mr. Renzushah was also recipients of Sheikh-ul-Alam Khalet Award, Mahjoor Award, Harmook Award and other awards. His articles and columns on spiritual personalities of Kashmir like Hazarat Bulbul Shah, Hazarat Shah-i-Hamdan, Hazarat Sheikh-ul-Alam, Haizrat Makhdoom Sahib, Hazarat Zain-ul-Abadin, Hazarat Baba Shukir-Din, Hazarat Shiekh Dawood ( Battamalo Saheb) Hazarat Shamas Faqir, Hazarat Naim Sahib were published in various prestigious magazines and newspapers of the sub-continent, have been taken into consideration while presenting Media Excellence Award to Mr. Renzushah.
