Srinagar: Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Wednesday called for removal of bottlenecks hindering the Cross LoC trade, saying hassle-free   commerce between the two divided parts of Kashmir would serve as huge confidence building measure. He was talking to a high-level delegation of Kashmir Traders and Manufacturer’s Federation led by Haji Mohammad Yasin Shah. “The KTMF president, Mohammad Yasin Shah, introduced newly elected members of the trader’s body to the Mirwaiz and apprised him about the various problems faced by the trading community,” a Hurriyat (M) spokesman said.Mirwaiz assured the delegation full support on issues faced by the traders and appealed them to ensure transparency in their dealings besides keeping a check on black marketing and hoarding in the wake of the frequent closure of Srinagar- Jammu highway, the spokesman added.Meanwhile, several Hurriyat (M) members visited the family of a slain youth, Mohammad Ashraf Lone, in Achabal Rafiabad and expressed their condolences. The Hurriyat members while strongly condemning the Lone’s killing reiterated the amalgam’s demand for an independent and impartial probe into the incident.“Mohammad Ashraf’s mysterious killing is part of a conspiracy to eliminate religious scholars and clerics,” the members said.
