Massive protests erupts on Srinagar Airport road after recovery of throat slit body of a youth

Srinagar, Jan 14 : Massive protests erupted on Srinagar International Airport road after throat slit body of a youth, missing for the past four days, was recovered near a railway track this morning.
However, the locals, mostly youths, who took to streets at Peerbagh in the city outskirts on the airport road alleging that a local youth Owais Bashir Malik was picked up by security forces from the area and murdered in custody.
Security forces and state police personnel burst teargas shells and resorted to lathicharge to disperse demonstrators, raising slogans against the security forces and state government.
