President given rousing reception on her arrival

JAMMU: The president of India Pratibha Devi Singh Patil today arrived in Jammu. She was given rousing reception at Jammu airport.
The Governor, Mr. N.N Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for Medical Education and Youth Services and Sports, Mr. R. S. Chib (Designated as Minister in waiting with the President during her visit to J&K), Chief Secretary, Mr. Madhav Lal, Director General Police, Mr. Kuldeep Khoda and other senior civil and police officers received her at the airport.
She was accompanied by Dr. Karan Singh, Chairman ICCR.
