PPP supporters celebrate Golden Jubilee of AAC in Maisuma.

Mirwaiz Family visible in Maisuma, uptown after 76 years.

Srinagar, June 19(KMW): People’s Political Party (PPP) Chairman, and APHC leader, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War, convened a special session of his party workers in his bastion, Maisuma , uptown, Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir and directed his supporters to celebrate the Golden Jubilee ( 50 glorious years of resistance ) of Awami Action Committee in Resistance Movement since 1964 . “ When the PPP supporters were unfurling the banners depicting the photographs of Mujajir-e-Milat , Moulana Mohammad Yousuf Shah ( R) , Shaheed-i- Milat , Moulanal Mohammad Farooq and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq one octogenarian person kissed the banner in Maisuma with tears in his eyes rolling down and recalled the history of 1939 when Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah decided to convert Muslim Conference into National Conference and Moulana Yousuf Shah continued his fight against the despotic rule of Maharaja Hari Sigh under the banner of Muslim Conference , said , Mr. War”.
In a statement issued to news outlets Chairman PPP, Hilal Ahmad War reaffirmed that ever since the inception of National conference and starting of Shera- Bukra fight till date the banners depicting the picture of Moulana Yousuf Shah etc. ( Mirwaiz Family )  in Maisuma (uptown ) were seen after 76 long years . People were enthusiastic to see their loved leader, Moulana Yousuf Shah visible in Maisuma. Engineer Hilal Ahmad War while addressing to his workers said his worthy father, Mohammad Yousuf War was also a strong activist of Muslim Conference during 1940’s. Pertinently, people of Maisuma have witnessed green revolution after MUF movement in the area.(KMW)
