PPP Hoists Black Flags in Civil Lines Supporting Mirwaiz Call

Srinagar: People’s Political Party (PPP), Chairman, Engineer Hilal Ahmad War today in a significant development of its kind extended his full support to the call given All Parties Hurriyat Conference (M), Chairman, Mirwaiz, Dr. Umar Farooq in which he urged people to observe black day. The day as per Mr. War was observed as a mark of protest against the recent brutal and cold blooded killings of innocent youth in Kashmir valley.

Following their leaders decision PPP supporters and volunteers hoisted black flags throughout the entire length and breadth of Maisuma locality including the adjoining Lal-Chowk (heart of the city) area, which happens to be a stronghold of the PPP Chairman, Engineer Hilal War and hub of political affairs.

Mr. War while commenting on this development said that it was a volunteer support to the APHC’s call in order to expose the brutal face of Indian Occupational Forces and lead the sacred movement of Kashmir to its logical end.

Mr. War further pledged his party’s full support to any call by APHC against the atrocities being perpetrated by the Indian forces against innocent Kashmiris. Mr. War said that it was high time for all the groups to respond to the call of time and rise above the party politics and myopic thinking and follow just one political forum which could actualize the dream of freedom which was a long cherished dream of the Kashmiri nations and its martyrs.
