PPP Chief, Welcomes Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s Statement

People’s Political Party (PPP) Chief, Hilal Ahmad War, has welcomed Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s statement wherein he has categorically said that Pakistan want result oriented and meaningful dialogues with India in order to pave the way for South Asian Peace.
“PPP Chief welcomes Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s stance that Islamabad seeks real substantive dialogues with India to address all outstanding issues including core issue Jammu & Kashmir and not just photo-ops”.
Mr.War said it is appreciable that Foreign Minister Qureshi at various meetings on the sidelines of UN General Assembly Session spoke in unambiguous terms making it clear that resolution of Kashmir issue is imperative for South Asian security. This endeavour shows that how serious is Government of Pakistan for resolving Kashmir Dispute which has kept hostage billions of people of this region.
“The stand taken by foreign minister is based on principles and reflects the true sentiments of Kashmiri people”, War said. Keeping Kashmir on the top of the Agenda of its Foreign Policy, Government of Pakistan has displayed its sincerity towards Kashmiris. He added that people of Jammu and Kashmir were expecting from PPP Government of Pakistan to take up the Kashmir issue in every International Fora and with top dignitaries of the world in order to translate the dream of world peace a reality.
PPP Chief emphasized that Pakistan should stick to its stand that Kashmir is internationally recognized disputed territory and it needs to be settled under relevant UN resolutions.
