Police recruitment rally held at Batmalloo

SRINAGAR:- Continuing its special recruitment drive, Jammu and Kashmir Police today organised a recruitment rally at HMT Factory Ground Zainakote. The recruitment was conducted for 230 Mohallas and Villages of Nyabat Batmalloo.
A large number of aspirants, including female candidates reached to the venue early in the morning to test their luck in the ground. Senior Officers including IGP Kashmir, Mr. S.M.Sahai, DIG Central Kashmir Range, Mr. A.G.Mir, AIG (Personnel) PHQ, Mr. Ghulam Hassan Bhat and SSP Srinagar, Mr. A.H. Bukhari conducted various tests of the candidates and Director General of Police, Mr. Kuldeep Khoda personally supervised the process. As many as161 youth including 2 females were selected in the rally in a transparent manner. Out of the candidates selected candidates 49 are graduates and 86 10+2 who were put to various physical tests and selected on the basis of their performance and qualifications.
Giving details, the DGP, Mr. Khoda said that the drive was organised in different areas of Jammu and Kashmir with the aim to provide employment to the eligible youth of these areas and to add effective strength to the department. He said that today’s rally was organised for 230 Mohallas and Villages of Nyabat Batmalloo which also include Batmalloo, Qamarwari, Bemina, Chattabal, Karan nagar, Watal Kadal, Bal-garden, Sheedgunj, Alochibagh, Tengpora, Tulsibagh, GogjiBagh, Parimpora, Barthana, HMT,Kanikadal,Mujagund and Gundhasibhat. He said that a criteria has been framed for the selection of the youth and SPOs are also given required preference under the reservation rules.
Later, Mr. Khoda addressed the selected youth on the occasion and stressed upon them to keep themselves available for the service of the people. He said that they have opted to join a large Police Parivar whose priority is to serve the people and ensure safety of the state. He also congratulated the selected youth and wished them a bright and safe future.
