New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has invited US President Barack Obama to visit India again while both the leaders expressed their intention of seeing each other soon, a spokesman for the Prime Minister’s Office said today.
Reports here said the two leaders could meet on November 18-19 in Cambodia on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit being held in Phnom Penh.
The Prime Minister, who had a telephonic conversation with Mr Obama, told him that he looked forward to continuing their close cooperation to pursue their shared vision for the India-US
strategic partnership.
Dr Singh also expressed appreciation for the personal interest and commitment that Mr Obama had brought to Indo-US bilateral relationship, the spokesman said.
He also reiterated his congratulations to the US President on his re-election and wished him success for his second term in office.
