New Delhi, Sep 4 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here after a five-day ‘successful’ visit to Japan, ‘drumming’ up goodwill for India and himself and commitments of 35 billion dollar Japanese investment.
He was received yesterday at the airport by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
The visit which was the Prime Minister’s first bilateral tour of India’s extended neighbourhood, resulted in commitments of stepped up defence cooperation besides 35 billion dollar commitment for investment during the next five years and raised hopes for his dream project Bullet Train.
