ISLAMABAD, Mar 19: Pakistan government has worked out a strategy to directly engage in peace talks with the proscribed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) while the venue for the upcoming meeting would be finalized in the next 48 hours.
The government negotiation committee comprising Habibullah Khushk, Fawwad Hassan Fawwad, Arbab Arif and Rustam Shah Mohman met with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan here on Wednesday.
According to sources, the decision to select the venue will be made by keeping in view easy accessibility.
During the talks, the Taliban will be demanded to identify the groups that are unwilling to abide by the discipline.
