Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Madhav Lal has asked the administrative Secretaries to ensure early operationalisation of file monitoring system.
The process will help track disposal and records for easy reference, he said.
Chairing a meeting of administrative Secretaries here today, the Chief Secretary called for fast tracking human resource branches in the identified departments for profiling complete bio-data of State cadre officers.
The move will help clear stuck up promotion proposals of officers in the identified departments, he maintained.
The meeting discussed performance of Government schools and colleges in the state and observed that required staff strength must be maintained in the education institutions to smoothen academic activities.
The Chief Secretary also directed Forest Secretary to ensure that sufficient quantity of timber is made available for construction of school buildings in the state.
Mr Lal also directed Secretary, Industries to submit a proposal under the cluster scheme for upgrading craft skills of artisans of Srinagar city.
