Omar releases book on Ladakh

JAMMU: Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah Friday released a book titled ‘Ladakh – A Glimpse of the Roof of the World’ authored by Dr. Tilak Ranjan Bera.
Minister for Tourism, Nawang Rigzin Jora was also present on the occasion.
The book contains interesting information and photo-features of Ladakh’s natural beauty focusing summer season. It also provides details about people, culture, tradition, monasteries and other aspects of Ladakh.
Omar Abdullah expressed the hope that the book will help the people of the country and that of the world significantly in understanding this unique and remarkable territory of India.
The Chief Minister congratulated Dr. Bera for authoring an exclusive book on Ladakh covering diverse subjects. (KMW News)
