Srinagar: Army’s Northern Commander Lt Gen B S Jaswal today arrived on a two-day visit to Kashmir to review the security situation in the Valley.
The Army commander interacted with senior officers and was given an update of the prevailing security situation in the Valley, a defence spokesman said here.
Lt Gen Jaswal was received by GoC 15 Corps Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain here.
The Northern Army Chief also released a coffee table book titled ”Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Yatra”.
He dedicated the book to the people of Kashmir and security forces which contribute to make this Yatra successful each year.
