Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police is still grilling some persons arrested from Kishtwar in Jammu region in connection with the Delhi High Court blast case in which 13 people were killed and more than 88 injured on September 7.
Director General of J&K Police (DGP) Kuldeep Khoda told reporters on the sidelines of a “police marathon” here today that the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is conducting the inquiry into the blast.
“We have no information about the leads received by the NIA so far,” he said.
When asked about the arrests made in Kishtwar from where an email was sent to several media organisations, claiming the responsibility for the blast by Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islami (HuJI), Mr Khoda said, “We have detained some people.” They are being interrogated; the police chief said adding that the outcome will be shared with the NIA.
He said these persons were present in the cyber cafe when the email was sent.
To another question about the detention of two Kashmiris in Rajasthan, Mr Khoda said the state police has no such information.
