New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has received a third email claiming responsibility for the Delhi High Court blast on Wednesday which left 13 people killed and 76 injured, sources said.
The third mail has been received from a group called ‘Indian Killers’. In two days, three emails have been received – first one from Pakistan-based militant group Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (HuJI), second from Indian Mujahideen and third email has been received today from a Yahoo account. The NIA has convened its meeting at 1600 hrs today in which chiefs of Anti-Terrorism Squads(ATS) of Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana and Delhi Police will participate. The first mail, believed to be sent by HuJI, was traced to Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir following which three people were taken into custody. A sketch of the boy aged around 18 years who allegedly sent the mail is being prepared. The NIA yesterday announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh to anyone providing information leading to the arrest of the September 7 bombing. The probe into Wednesday’s bombing is being run by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), a body set up in the wake of the 2008 Mumbai attacks by Islamist gunmen that left 166 people dead.
