Srinagar 12 Aug: The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) is set to organize a grand National Book Fair at the Sher-I-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar. The event will take place from August 17 to August 25, 2024, offering book lovers and literary enthusiasts an exceptional opportunity to explore a wide range of Urdu literature and publications.
The book fair will feature almost 100 stalls from prominent publishing houses across the country, showcasing an extensive collection of books covering various genres and topics. This event is poised to be a literary celebration, drawing authors, scholars, and readers from different regions to indulge in the rich cultural heritage of Urdu literature.
The fair is open to the public with no entry fee, making it accessible to everyone. Visitors can explore the stalls daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM during the event.
This book fair is a significant cultural event in the region, providing a platform for the promotion of Urdu language and literature and an opportunity for the public to engage with publishers and authors.
