Nawaz Sharif calls on President, Atal Behari Vajpayee

New Delhi , May 27: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif called on President Pranab Mukherjee and former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.

The two visits were described by officials as “courtesy calls”.

The “customary” meeting with the President lasted nearly 30 minutes.

The meetings were held after talks between Prime MInister Narendra Modi and Mr Sharif on various bilateral issues.

The Pakistan Prime Minister arrived here yesterday to participate in the swearing-in ceremony of Mr Modi.
