New Delhi, February 27: Jammu and Kashmir People’s Democratic Party (PDP) patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today and discussed government formation in the state. Mr Sayeed, who arrived here last night to sort out the last-minutes glitches in government formation, is likely to be sworn-in as the Chief Minister on Sunday heading a PDP-BJP coalition government. This is the first time that BJP will be part of the government in the state. Dr Nirmal Singh is likely to be the Deputy Chief Minister.Although officially nothing could be immediately known about what happened at the meeting, sources said the state will have a Deputy Chief Minister from the BJP. The meeting, which began at 0930 hrs, ended at 1045 lasting more than an hour.(News agency)
