Srinagar: Suspected militants tonight shot dead a truck driver inside his house in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, officials said.
Mohammad Ayoub Wani was killed when he returned to his house in Kakapora town, 21-km from here, from a mosque after offering prayers, they said.
Wani, who was hit by two bullets in the head, died instantly.
Two of Wani’s brother are employed in the police department.
No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
