Jammu: A play based on Iraqi Journalist who hurled a shoe on American President George Bush, production of Bollywood showman Mahesh Bhatt ‘The Last Salute’ would be staged today in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
“The play is based on an Iraqi journo who hurled his shoe on President Bush and ‘The Last Salute’ is an initiative to portray the real picture of US dominance on other countries,” Mr Bhatt – who was here in the town in context with his play – told reporters at a press conference.
The Bollywood director said, “It is totally a different play, which shows many realities and other facts based tales.” He said it was his first ever production in drama which is directed by Arvind Gour, written by Rajesh Kumar, music by Dr Sangeeta Gour and upcoming actor Imran Zahid is playing a lead role.
However, Mr Bhatt said “Drama is the best mode of expressions”, adding theatre speaks much better than the films.
On Bollywood, Mr Bhat said, “Revolution will soon arrive in industry and the time is not far.”
