SRINAGAR, APRIL 09(KMW): As many as 39375 votes were polled in Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency till 11.00 am today.
Highest numbers of 16719 votes were cast in Budgam district, followed by 12573 votes in Ganderbal district and 10083 votes in Srinagar district.
In Kangan Assembly segment of Ganderbal district 8015 voters exercised their franchise, while as the lowest of 169 votes were polled in Eidgah assembly segment of Srinagar district.
In Srinagar District, Hazratbal segment has recorded 964 votes, Khanyar 800, Habbakadal 1164, Eidgah 169, Zadibal 1772, Amirakadal 1937, Sonwar 1433, Batamaloo 1844, thus recording a total of 10083 votes which include 6494 male and 3589 female voters.
In Budgam, Chadoora segment recorded 276 votes, Budgam 2443, Beerwa 6069, Khansahib 6410 and Chrar-e-Sharief 1521 aggregating to total 16719 votes polled in the district which include 14075 male and2644 female voters.
In Ganderbal district, Kangan segment recorded 8015 and Ganderbal segment recorded 4558 votes including 8140 male and 4433 female electorates.
Thus the total poll percentage by 11.am was 3.12 percent.
