LeT module active in north Kashmir busted, 8 militants arrested

Srinagar, Oct 26 : Jammu and Kashmir police busted a recruitment module of Lashkar-e-Taiba active in Sopore township and arrested eight militants at north Kashmir district of Baramulla.

Official sources here today said on getting information about presence of a recruitment module in Shopore, state police and 30 Rashtriya Rifles launched an operation and arrested eight LeT militants from different areas of Baramulla.

They said police also recovered eight UBGL, five Chinese grenades and 100 AK-47 rounds from the arrested militants.
