LeT militant held in Sopore

Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested a Lashker-e-Toiba militant at Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.  Superintendent of Police Sopore, Altaf Khan told that acting on specific information, police arrested LeT militant identified as Mohammad Shafi Dar alias Akash of Nawpora Sopore last night. He said that an AK-47, a magazine and 25 rounds were recovered from the possession of the militant.   Police has also registered a case FIR 84/11 under section 6 arms act.
