SRINAGAR, (KMW News): As part of the ongoing fortnight long Kashmir Tourism Festival-2013, the Department of Tourism organized a Special Qawali Programme by M/s. Aslam Sabri and Party at the SKICC, here last evening.
Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, was the Chief Guest on this occasion. He interacted with Mr. Sabri, a well known Qawali singer of the country, and congratulated him for his scintillating performance, which enthralled the audience. The Governor wished Mr. Sabri very good health and continuing success in his aesthetic endeavours.
Mrs. Usha Vohra, First Lady; Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Minister for Tourism; Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kichloo, Minister of State for Home and Tourism; Mr. Nazir Ahmad Khan, Minister of State for Animal and Sheep Husbandry; Mr. Ajatshatru Singh, MLC; Mr. Atal Dulloo, Commissioner/Secretary, Tourism; Mr. Khalid Bashir, Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, senior officers, prominent citizens and a large number of people, including tourists, were present on this occasion.
