Srinagar: The weekly Karvan-e-Aman bus service between divided partsof the Kashmir was suspended Thursday following landslides in Muzaffarbad, capital of Pakistan administered Kashmir. “The bus service between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad was suspended today due to landslides at Chokti and other places in Muzaffarbad in PaK,†they said. Both parts of the divide were lashed by incessant rains, causing landslides in mountainous ranges. Considered as a major confidence building measure between India and Pakistan, the bus service was inaugurated by the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on April 7, 2005, to allow divided families to meet each other.
