Leh, December 23: Joint Secretary to the Judicial Inquiry Commission, Sh. Rigzin Spalgon today informed that the Judicial Inquiry Commission constituted pertaining to the 24th September Leh incident under the chairmanship of Justice Dr. B. S. Chauhan, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, has conducted its proceedings from 17th to 23rd December, 2025 and has recorded statements of CRPF, Magistrates and Ladakh Police.

He further stated that the Commission has already collected and examined their written statements submitted earlier as part of the preliminary process.

The Joint Secretary conveyed that in the next sitting to be held in near future, public will be called to record their statements before the Commission. He added that the dates for recording statements of individuals who have already submitted their affidavits will be announced in due course.
