Joint resistance leadership appealed to completely boycott Parliamentary By-Polls

Srinagar, April 08: The joint resistance leadership has appealed to completely boycott the Parliamentary by-elections tomorrow.

Polling for the Parliamentary by-polls will be held in three districts of Srinagar, Badgam and Ganderbal, tomorrow.

The resistance leaders comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik have also called for complete shutdown and anti-election rallies to protest against the staging of election.

They said that sham polls could not be a substitute to the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and were held only to mislead the world about the ground situation of the kashmir.
